So, I got back from the Edmonton Capital Ex parade. I was in it as a zombie, to promote Dedfest and the River City Zombie Committee and such. There weren't a huge amount of us, but it was still awesome! We had two hearses too. The crowd loved us, even the kids, though I heard a couple cry. Oh well. Totally going to be looking for myself on the news tonight. ^.^ I'm a right little camera whore when I'm in costume and in character. O.o
It was so bloody hot though... We were all drenched in sweat by the end, some people's make-up was peeling/flaking off and I am hoarse from snarling and groaning at people. Plus my feet are sore. But it was so much fun!

In art news, I've done a few more sketches of dinosaurs and inked one, but I haven't put the pictures up yet. For my armor, I've gotten most of it cut out, shaped and some have the silver base coat on now. I've done my kama and fixed my gloves. I also had to fix my bucket because it got thrown in the bottom of a box and had stuff piled on it. So it got bent and the visor popped off. I managed to fix it, but in the future I'm going to re-do the dome and get the seam fixed better because on the sides since it shows a little now that it was squooshed. Unfortunetly, I don't have access to someone who can fiberglass the inside, so I make do with silicone goop. I'll see about adding metal or something, or wait until I can get a better bucket.
